With generous support from the National Science Foundation ‘TRIPODS+X’ program, Lehigh University is hosting a set of collaborative, interdisciplinary workshops in computationally-intensive academic research fields. The University’s Institute for Data, Intelligent Systems, and Computation (I-DISC) has announced these specialized workshops on the topic of machine learning as it applies to a variety of emerging applications and academic pursuits.

Through these workshops, Lehigh is bringing together top experts from across academic disciplines that leverage machine learning techniques to advance their efforts and create new knowledge. The goal of this activity is to enable the sharing of expertise across various areas of science and engineering that have a stake in the tremendous recent surge in adoption of machine learning technologies and tools. To learn more about Lehigh’s successful engagement with the TRIPODS+X program, see this article from the Rossin College News Center.
