SHORT TERM RESEARCH COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR ACADEMIC YEAR ‘24-’25

Lehigh's Data Science program and I-DISC together have an initiative to match faculty research needs with MS students with data science related training to provide part-time or short-term research assistance to help Lehigh faculty with the data science, programming, or computational projects. Simply, complete an application form and we will identify potential graduate students that match your needs. 

STEP 1: FACULTY & STUDENTS COMPLETE APPLICATION
STEP 2: FACULTY NEEDS WILL BE MATCHED WITH SUITABLE MS STUDENT(S)
STEP 3: FACULTY & STUDENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF ANY SUITABLE MATCH
STEP 4: FACULTY & STUDENTS CAN REACH OUT IF INTERESTED TO DISCUSS FURTHER / INTERVIEW
STEP 5: FACULTY & STUDENTS AGREE TO TERMS & START RESEARCH

Deadlines:

  • August 19, 2024 for student research in Fall Semester 2024 (no longer accepting requests)
  • December 30, 2024 for student research in Spring Semester 2025 
  • April 14, 2025 for student research in Summer Session 2025 opportunities (not open to any student graduating in May 2025)

We will do our best to match you with a MS Data Science student, or students in other programs such as MS Computer Science or MS Industrial and Systems Engineering or MS Electrical and Computer Engineering who might also have the required Data Science skills for short term collaboration on your project.
